This web site presents information on several different career fields within the marine sciences. Profiles of individuals working in the fields are also provided:

Marine Biology - the study of marine organisms, their behaviors, and their interactions with the environment;

Oceanography - the study of the oceans' size and depth, physics and chemistry, inhabitants, and resources;

Ocean Engineering - building the equipment that allows marine science to advance;

Related Fields - a look at some careers that combine the ocean with such fields as law, economics, education, communications, and many more.

The Career Outlook section looks at what the experts see for careers in the marine sciences
